Tough to switch, Insane price hike!!
Pros
CoConstruct is a useful tool. The software is thoughtfully designed and everything from budgets to purchase orders and change orders runs smoothly and is user-friendly.
Cons
The biggest downside is that once you're adjusted to CoConstruct you're kind of stuck. It's hard to export your data. Our small business had no issues with CoConstruct until last year when they suddenly raised our rates by about $5,000. It was a total shock and we weren't prepared for the huge price hike. Since CoConstruct is so data-centric it's difficult to move your info to another service. We're basically stuck paying these high prices because we can't walk away from all our project data. I'd suggest avoiding CoConstruct unless you're ready to lose your project data if needed.

Time Effective and flawless project management
Pros
It allows me to manage multiple projects and keep all communications organized in one place which is a huge time saver for me.
Cons
The trade partners really overcomplicate things. All they need to do is respond to an email but they seem to make it harder than it should be.

Overcomplicated software
Pros
Estimating tool, Gantt chart and customer support are definitely my only favorite features, the helped in my daily work requirements.
Cons
Simple tasks like sending invoices are a difficult process. It's because there's no dashboard, no accounts receivable and no email confirmations. It feels like the system wasn't built by people who understand the construction industry. I had to find ways to make it work for us but it felt like I was tricking the system.
