Pros

It is flexible, fast and packed with all the features we expected from a collaboration tool plus a few great surprises too. Also it integrates with most systems and offers strong sharing and privacy controls making it perfect for a company wiki.

Cons

The paid Doc Maker license is something I do not like as forces us to either pay for a license just to create documents or discourages people from sharing knowledge if we are trying to save costs. The pricing definitely needs improvement.

Can be a hit or miss, depending on your needs

The customization options it offers are a huge advantage and that's one of the main reasons we chose Coda in the first place.

Cons

Honestly, I do not even know where to start... The interface just doesn't work for me. It feels cluttered and unorganized when it comes to managing documentation.

Coda is an upgraded version of Google Docs

Pros

It is very easy for us now to document and collaborate all in one place. Thanks to Coda software, as it basically combines the features of Google Docs, Sheets and more, and keeps everything centralized. Plus, you only pay for the document makers, not for every single user, which is admirable.

Cons

Honestly, there is nothing I don't like about Coda. I just wish I knew a bit more about coding to really level up my docs and make the most out of it.

Has a lot of room for improvement

Pros

Coda software is a great little collaboration tool that provides a highly intuitive user experience. I like it but not much so moving on to Notion.

Cons

To be fair, Coda's good but I would say that it is just not as powerful as Notion in some areas.

Good, but not the best as Notion

Pros

It surely has a more corporate feel compared to Notion, which allows us to pitch it to managers who still think a shared folder in Google Docs is the way to go for documentation. That said, it is really geared towards being a company wiki rather than a personal space for saving your notes or documents.

Cons

If you're working with big documents or sheets, Coda might not be the best choice. I tried using it to store all the feedback from my users, but as the files got bigger, the tool got slower. Or otherwise you need a really good computer to make it run smoothly.

Might reconsider it in the future

Pros

I love how many useful integrations Coda offers. It really connects with a lot of tools that matter in our work space.

Cons

When it comes to databases, the relationship between tasks just doesn't work as it should. So this is an area in which I feel like improvements should be made.

Simply amazing...

Pros

What stands out the most for me is how flexible Coda is both in setting it up and actually using it. Out of all the similar services I have tried, this one is the best. As it allows me to customize my database exactly how I want it and easily expand when needed. I must say that the team behind Coda is also great at taking user feedback and turning it into real improvements, and they keep rolling out new features all the time.

Cons

I feel like they don't give you many options when it comes to formatting and layouts. For example, you are stuck with just two fonts such as one serif and one sans-serif. Sure, you can use italics or bold, but overall the choices are pretty limited.

Simple yet effective

Pros

Coda is fairly simple to use and makes sharing pages with teammates a hassle free task. Also as a tool for managing knowledge or collaborating, it is great as we do not have to spend hours trying to figure things out.

Cons

One thing I have noticed is that Coda has some limitations when it comes to creating deeply customizable content, especially with things like tables or pages that include different types of content.

Has everything we were looking for

Pros

It is an all in one solution where we can create collaborative project hubs, manage tasks and deliverables, connect with Jira and even keep both clients and internal teams updated on daily project statuses.

Cons

Figuring out formulas and connectors is not easy and training my team to use them has been a bit of a challenge too. I hope they make it a bit more user-friendly in the next upgrade session.

Packed with some amazing features

Pros

Coda really impressed me with how versatile it is and all the features it offers. Whether it is something simple like compiling lists or more complex tasks like coding, it gave me the perfect platform to manage and execute all my projects. Plus its neat and organized layout made it quite easy to switch between different tabs without any hassle.

Cons

It can be a bit unreliable and slow when I am working on large projects. It feels like it is still developing in terms of features and usability.
