Falls short for time tracking needs
Pros

Being able to clock in for the exact job I am working on is really helpful. Also it helps keep everything organized and accurate.

Cons

Navigating the site and finding what I need can be a bit complicated at times.

Has everything you need for time management
Pros

The time recording feature for payroll is very helpful and I love that I can check my leave balance and submit leave requests easily.

Cons

Well the interface for approving timesheets is not my favorite. I feel like it could definitely be more user-friendly.

Overall, good product
Pros

From my experience, one thing I really appreciate about Deltek is how it "stops" me from revising previous work without a valid reason. I find that incredibly important, especially from an employer's perspective to maintain accuracy and prevent unnecessary changes.

Cons

One thing I really don't like about Deltek is how specific it is. At least in my experience, it doesn't allow for tracking timesheets to two decimal points. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem but when I try to track something like 7.75 hours, I can't input it as 7.7 or 7.8 because it won't accept it which is frustrating.

Integrated and Powerful
Pros

I love how Deltek serves as an all-in-one HRIS and accounting software. It really simplifies the process by consolidating everything in one place.

Cons

The user interface is definitely not very user-friendly. There are some modules that I actually need to take courses to fully understand and use, which can be a bit much.

Streamlining timekeeping with deltek
Pros

Logging into Deltek Costpoint is very easy for me. My username is saved, so I don't have to enter a password every time. This one small step makes signing in so much quicker and easier when I'm getting ready for work.

Cons

I always find myself referring to the user manual when entering a leave request. It's hard to remember exactly where to find the information, and the dashboard labels for functions aren't really simple.

Access anywhere: PC or mobile
Pros

I really appreciate that I can access Deltek on both my mobile devices and my PC. It gives me flexibility and convenience no matter where I am.

Cons

Sometimes the graphics take forever to load but honestly, I don't think it's a huge issue in the grand scheme of things.

Easy for everyone
Pros

Our team absolutely loves how user-friendly Deltek is. It's easy to use and I've been using it since I joined my company in 2019. I also know that there are so many other modules that I can learn to use in the future, which is great for growth.

Cons

The search features can be tricky at times and if you're not familiar with the system, there's definitely a learning curve to get the hang of it.

Always reliable!
Pros

The customer service has been really helpful, especially with Zoom meetings to resolve any issues. I also love how easy it is to transfer information from the software to Excel.

Cons

I feel like I'm constantly getting updates about software upgrades, which can be a bit much at times.

Above 1 star? NO
Pros

Honestly, I can't think of any negatives. The only reason I use Costpoint is that it's required by the company I work for.

Cons

The UI looks outdated, like it's stuck in 1995. There doesn't seem to be much thought put into the user experience or flow. It's clunky and the mobile app is even worse.
