Helpful tool but a bit unclear UI

Pros

The checklist feature is a game changer for keeping things moving. I pin drawings and notes, which saves me a lot of time with the team.

Cons

I'm still figuring out some of the features. It's not always super obvious what does what but I can manage. It gets the job done at least.

It helps the team work efficiently, it records all the necessary actions and gives clients the clarity and accuracy they need to step up their game.

Cons

The integration with our job management systems is really limited and it makes admin tasks a lot more work. It ends up slowing down our efficiency.

Easy team collaboration, perfect for our work

What I love most about Fieldwire is how easy it is to work as a team. Everyone is connected and we can see everything in real time, from daily logs to notes and markings on plans.

Cons

In the beginning, adding another user to a specific project was a bit tricky but it just took some getting used to the software.

User-friendly and fully functional App

Pros

It's easy to use and set up, no extensive training needed. We can implement it and use our forms without any issues.

Cons

Honestly I have no complaints. The app is super complete and you can even view things in 3D.

Handy comparison tool makes my work a lot easier

Pros

For an estimator the "Compare" feature is absolutely essential. It helps me track all the changes the design team makes even when they forget to mention it in their write ups.

Cons

Adjusting the scale and getting the drawing to line up properly when a consultant gives only a small detail, without sending a full drawing, can be a bit of an inconvenience.

Great for tracking, Love it

Pros

With over 300 roofs to manage this program lets me track the status of all of them easily. Plus my foremen can enter and update data remotely which keeps the office updated with live information on our current projects.

Cons

One thing I didn't like was not being able to run a report for all my projects. I could only do it for tasks. I also wish I could rename the work task to 'HOUSES.' Additionally I don't like that you can't move the sidebar around. For example the list includes Plans, Tasks, Photos, Forms, Files and People, but you can't reorder them. Also when submitting a photo you're stuck either taking a new one or using one that's already uploaded. I wish I could just grab a photo directly from my phone's storage and upload it immediately.

Smooth workflow

Pros

It makes communication between the office and the field so much easier and more manageable for us. My crew always has the latest documents right in front of them which saves time and keeps things moving smoothly.

Cons

There are a few features I wish it had but they're supposedly coming in future releases.

Simple reporting and flawless scheduling

Pros

Fieldwire allows project managers to easily track field work progress across multiple construction projects. Reporting on field operations is simple and efficient. Also project scheduling with Fieldwire is incredible. It just works.

Cons

I haven't really disliked any features so far. The implementation was also pretty smooth from the start.

Easy integration but expensive

Pros

The integration was super easy and the interface is very user-friendly. It really helped out in the field with drawings, document control and submittals. Everything just clicked.

Cons

It's not ideal for bids or estimating. It gets pretty expensive once you have more than five users. Also you can't create RFIs (Requests for Information) through the software.
