Upgrade your creative flow
Pros
It's super easy for me to deliver concepts, leave feedback and comments, and organizing everything is simple. The simple interface lets me stay on top of tasks without getting confuse making collaboration and project management feel effortless.
Cons
I've found their support and customer service to be slow and not very helpful. I end up troubleshooting a lot on my own which can be a real inconvenience when you just need things fixed quickly.

Frustrating experience with this app
Pros
Honestly I can't think of anything good to say about it. I don't usually write reviews but this one is just so bad I had to speak up.
Cons
This has been so frustrating for me. I was sent 76 files including videos and pictures, to download since I'm an editor. Not only can you not choose where to save them but you also have to download each one individually. I had to go through the same process 76 times to find the folder I wanted. It's 2024, how could this app be so underdeveloped? I have no choice but to deal with it but it's a horrible experience.

Quick video reviews
Pros
We mainly use Frame.io to review and comment on rough cuts of our marketing and YouTube videos. It's super easy to leave comments or draw on specific timestamps so our video editor knows exactly what changes are needed. We also really like that it integrates directly with Premiere Pro.
Cons
It seems like the product is moving towards offering more complete video project management features. While I understand that these could be useful for video production teams, we don't really need those extra project management features. We already manage all our projects in a separate software that does a lot more than just video related tasks.

Poor service and no bulk export
Pros
It's a decent platform for hosting videos and getting feedback. We find it pretty easy to use and it works out as a great benefit for our company.
Cons
Customer service is terrible. If you accidentally go over your storage limits even by a little, they suspend your account and you can't access anything. All your links break. There's no way to bulk export your videos.

Great collaboration tool
Pros
Frame.io is a game changer for me when it comes to collaborating on video content creation. It makes sharing feedback, reviewing edits and managing revisions so much easier allowing my team and I to work together easily in real time.
Cons
The storage limits can be a bit restricting but it's not a dealbreaker for me. It's manageable as long as I stay within the limits.

Best for customer insights
Pros
Super useful for getting quick and accurate feedback on videos. I love how easy it is to comment and upload different versions all under the same link. Sharing it with people even those not in the video business, is simple.
Cons
I always find the option to download the video hard to find. I end up having to remember to click on it and that just adds unnecessary steps.

User-friendly but needs better navigation
Pros
I was invited to use it by the video editor and as a newbie, I found it pretty simple to figure out.
Cons
I found the markup app to be more comprehensive and easier to use. The version control function was also a bit hidden. It took me a while to find the drop down for versions. I also had a bit of trouble editing comments but then again, I'm not a pro so I might have just not been using it properly.

Video collaboration software
Pros
It's a great tool for evaluating video content with colleagues. You can add comments and graphic signs at any given minute of the video. It even works with Adobe Premiere.
Cons
The price could definitely be lower or it could be bundled with other Adobe packages to make it a better deal.

Easy feedback
Pros
I absolutely love that my colleagues can leave comments via the Frame.io link and I can see their feedback directly on my Premiere timeline. This saves me a ton of back and forth.
Cons
The tool doesn't have tags for organizing your content which would be really helpful for me. Without them it gets a little tricky to keep everything in order.

Great for video reviews
Pros
The design of Frame.io is really easy to navigate whether you're using it every day or if you're a client who's never seen it before. It uploads quickly, integrates with different editing software and the price is great for the storage you get (250GB right now). Adding team members is simple and most importantly it's easy for clients to use.
Cons
The only small issue I have is with the review link sharing. When I share links to several videos it doesn't automatically sort them alphabetically. I have to manually arrange them in the order I want which is a bit of an issue.
