My experience with JobTread

Pros

The level of detail provided for projects makes it so much easier for me to handle multiple jobs at the same time.

Cons

It's tricky to learn all the features. The software feels a little complicated at first.

The team is fantastic. They made everyone feel at ease and are always willing to help whenever needed.

It was a fast-paced and there's a lot to cover. It'd be great if it could be customized so that after attending the bootcamp, we could start using the software right away.

It's really thorough. I can't think of any area of construction management that it doesn't cover.

It's challenging to get the hang of compared to the last project management software we used, mostly because it has so many features.

Pros

This is easily one of the best software firms I've ever worked with. I've been an independent contractor for 15 years and have used several different platforms for management and accounting and I can say without a doubt this one is by far the most capable and user-friendly. The onboarding training is solid and the customer support is accessible which makes the whole experience even better.

Cons

This software has some limitations in functionality but they're really niche and with each update, the list gets smaller.

Scheduling and hour tracking work really well for me. It's very efficient and helps keep everything organized.

It's super easy to use and quick to learn. We were up and running in no time and kept learning new features as we went.

Fantastic PM software

Pros

I love how quickly I can create and edit project budgets and proposals. The platform is easy to use and user friendly. We use it every day for project management tasks like budgets, proposals, contracts, change orders, scheduling, invoicing, document storage and communication with clients and trade partners. Switching over from Co-Construct and Builder Trend was easy especially with help from our project success manager.

Cons

JobTread is designed for contractors who use cost-plus or time-and-material contracts not fixed-price contracts. As a design-build contractor working with fixed-price contracts, we run into some limitations when getting client approvals for selections during the project development phase. However we've found workarounds in the platform that suit our needs.

Rreally good solution for construction

Pros

They have incredible customer service. I've never felt pressured to upgrade and they're always so helpful.

Cons

There aren't enough customization options. More options could really help businesses cater to their specific needs.

I get prompt responses and clear, easy-to-follow instructions from support team plus the this program is very simple to use.

Cons

I haven't found anything I don't like yet. The more I learn about the program, the more I like it!
