Terrible customer support
Pros

The modular app kit, especially the forms feature is a great way to create custom forms that fit our specific needs.

Cons

Since Podio became part of Progress.com the customer support has become poor.

Does the job, but needs improvements
Pros

Podio helps us keep track of all our data in one place, which makes our job so much easier.

Cons

Connecting third-party apps is not a simple task, and sometimes we have to pay someone just to get support which is a major flaw.

Easy to learn and use
Pros

Its user-friendly design software makes it easy for my team to navigate it without any training.

Cons

While it does offer a lot of integrations, I found setting them up pretty complicated, especially if you are not very technical.

Podio is a powerhouse
Pros

What I like most about Podio is how customizable it is to help scale our business. Plus the ability to customize it to fit your needs is a big plus. And with all the latest integrations, Podio is definitely staying at the top of my list when it comes to CRMs.

Cons

It doesn't happen often, but when the site or status goes down in the middle of the workday, it can really mess things up for our business that relies on it. Over the past 6 years, it's only affected me about 3 to 4 times, but still it is a bit of a headache when it does.

Works, but don't forget to look at the price
Pros

One thing I really liked is how smoothly Podio integrates with Google Drive and Dropbox. The result of it is that now sharing files is so simple for us. And overall, it feels like one of the more user friendly platforms out there.

Cons

Well I would say it is not the most intuitive tool when it comes to setting up tasks and workflows. As it can take a while to get everything working just the way we want, and if we have only got one person managing the team and they leave, we might be in trouble if we need to make changes. I also found that Podio is a bit too expensive. The basic version is affordable but once you start adding features, the price goes up fast and you end up paying a lot. With all the time spent on setup, it makes us hesitant to switch but I needed a better tracking and reporting system than what Podio offered, and the price was getting too high, so I decided to make the switch.

Works fine!
Pros

The task queue feature is one of my favorites. It gives me a clear list of whats coming up, especially with call tasks, so I am always on top of things.

Cons

Managing individual tasks felt like it requires a lot of effort. Also I didn't like how much time it took to stay on top of everything.

Easy to customize
Pros

Customizing apps, creating workflows and rolling them out is quite easy with Podio. Also our team picked up the interface and features quickly, which saved us a lot of time.

Cons

it has limited native integrations, so if we want to connect with other apps like Time Tracker, Xero, Pandadoc or Google Spreadsheets, we have to have a Zapier account. I feel like it is an extra step that shouldn't be there.

One of the best in the market
Pros

it is like this hidden gem in project and task management tools. It is very limitless as we can build custom systems and workflows for our specific needs without needing a lot of technical skills (though some help doesn't hurt). Also it is the best for creating exactly what we are looking for in a workflow or data management tool.

Cons

Setting it up was not the easiest process. As it requires time, planning and a bit of tech knowledge. even though you don't need to be a programmer, but the setup can definitely be a challenge. But once we get the hang of it, everything becomes pretty simple. Honestly, after the setup, I don't have much to complain about.
