Good start but needs depth

Pros

I really like the timecard system but it needs an API for ADP integration. ADP is one of the most popular payroll systems yet we still have to manually enter time into it which is a trouble and very time consuming. Previously, we used ADP's Time Tracking but we wanted better reporting flexibility and accuracy. With Raken we lost the automatic feed to payroll and honestly their reporting isn't that much better than ADP's. We're sticking with Raken for now, but as we grow I'm not sure it will keep up with us.

Cons

I find the lack of an API for ADP really limiting. The reporting features could definitely use some work and there's no option for custom reporting. It feels like Raken just offers a one size fits all solution which doesn't always fit my needs. You get the same standard app and reports no matter what, and it doesn't really cater to specific requirements.

Easy onboarding and good service

Pros

The onboarding team was fantastic. While 99% of my setup was handled by customer service, I also felt that their service was very helpful. I am actually very happy that one of their team member convinced us to go with Raken in the first place.

Cons

Had no issues so far. I'm actually pretty satisfied with how responsive and helpful the team has been from their company. Service has been good.

Right fit but has a buggy mobile app

Pros

The features and interface were exactly what we needed for desktop use. It ticked all the boxes for what we were looking for.

Cons

The mobile app doesn't always work the way I expect. Sometimes it's a bit glitchy or doesn't load quickly and starts lagging.

All in one platform, meets all our business needs!

Pros

It covers everything i need like production, safety and time management. Honestly, It's a complete package once you get familiar with it.

Cons

The learning curve was definitely steeper than I thought. It's not impossible but employees need to dedicate time in training to really get the hang of it.

Powerful tool and the best fit

Pros

One thing I really love is that the system is constantly being upgraded. They keep adding more power and functionality for their users which is a big plus.

Cons

Something I dont really like is the delay between updates on mobile and PC. The mobile version seems to update a lot faster. But it's not a big deal for me. We still really like using Raken.

Useful but needs fixes

Pros

It's a decent tool for timecards but the system only lets you see everyone's timecard it doesnt offer individual view, which can be a bit too much.

Cons

I stored my signature in the system but every week I still get an email to review and sign my timecard. The annoying part is, I can't just use my stored signature. I have to write it out each time which is really time consuming and frustrating.

Simple and clear system

Pros

Navigating through the system is pretty simple and clear. I can figure everything out on my own without any confusion.

Cons

I really don't have much to say here. Cant really think of anything I dislike about it, to be honest.

Personally, good tool but has room for improvement

Pros

There are plenty of different ways through which i can enter data and it easily switches between platforms like laptop, iPad and mobile. Voice entry works great and reports are easy to generate and share.

Cons

Searching through past history can be a bit tricky sometimes. It's not the smoothest process but I manage.

Great for progress

Pros

It makes tracking job progress really easy for me especially when it comes to manpower and how far along the project is.

Cons

Sometimes finding exactly what I need to do takes a little more time but it gets easier the more you get used to the platform and get familiar with where things are.

Flexible and Fun

Pros

The flexibility is awesome, i like playing around with what i can pick and choose or what i need depending on my project and can easily ignore what i don't want.

Cons

To be honest, I am still trying to figure out what I don't like about it. So far it's been pretty easy to pick up and use.
