Frustrating to use and lacks support
Pros
It looked promising at first but it has so many issues that make it almost unusable. I often found myself frustrated trying to get basic tasks done.
Cons
The list of issues is long. First off there's absolutely no support. I've reached out through chat for help with simple things and either I get no response or I'm told that they'll get back to me in 24 hours. But they never do. I've even tried contacting during their support hours and still, nothing. Not getting answers just makes the program feel seriously flawed. And don't get me started on the lack of an undo and redo function. If you make a mistake, tough luck, you can't undo it. It makes working on scene timing and changes a nightmare. The only way around it I've found is to copy the project over and over, just to revert to a previous version. How is there a program with no undo feature? Even programs like Davinci, Photoshop and Premier have it. I can't even figure out how to import my strips into the shot sheet. You seem to have to build it from scratch. Seriously? All that info is in the program so why can't I just pull it from the database? The UI is another mess. It's confusing with labels that don't make any sense. As for the tutorials they're flashy, fast-paced and completely unhelpful. The UI in the tutorials doesn't even match mine so trying to follow along is like playing a puzzle game I didn't sign up for. The implementation and integration are flawed too. The program looks great at first but the learning curve is brutal. A few adjustments could make it awesome but it's still far from there. I've been in the game development field for over 15 years working with companies like Xbox, PlayStation and Disney, so I know a thing or two about UI/UX. This program has so many issues with the pipeline, UI/UX and support that I'm giving it zero stars. It's so close to being great yet so far. After all the redoing I've had to do it might just be easier to go back to using Excel.

Great UI but no undo
Pros
The User Interface is amazing compared to the old look and feel of other software and I genuinely appreciate the fresh design. It's a huge improvement.
Cons
There's no undo feature. If you mess up you have to redo everything. And when it comes to support forget it. They never reply to me or respond in chat. It's basically non existent.

Smooth scheduling
Pros
When I first discovered StudioBinder I was really excited and once I started using it I was even more impressed. It made production scheduling super easy and provided a simple platform for me to communicate with both the actors and the crew.
Cons
Honestly I don't have any issues with it. It works just fine for me.
