Planning tool is Exceptional

Pros

I love that they're always working on improving the software. They actually listen to customer feedback and are committed to enhancing their offerings.

Cons

It can be a bit confusing when you first sign up. Make sure you give yourself enough time to set it up before tax season. There are a lot of features that can really help during that busy time so it's worth exploring them all.

Great document management software

Pros

Tax Dome has been really responsive and efficient. Their customer service team addresses inquiries quickly. The time tracking features are incredibly helpful for us and the document management system is great and easy to use. We also appreciate how advanced the invoicing system is compared to others we've tried.

Cons

The document management system has frozen a few times which was stressful, especially when I was on a tight deadline. In terms of invoicing it's better than most other tools, but still feels a little limited. More customization options would be helpful especially the ability to CC myself or teammates in outgoing invoices, reminders and other communications.

Helpful markup features, and Frequent updates

Pros

The document organization feature through the upload portal is excellent and I find the ability to view and mark up documents works really well for keeping everything clear and accessible.

Cons

Some uploads can't be marked up depending on the file type. Also having an auto response feature for the messaging platform would be useful when the message board isn't being actively monitored.
