Pros
It gives me all the specific features I need to track time which helps with keeping everyone accountable.
Cons
The interface isn't very appealing with too many widgets taking up screen space. Also for some reason it made my MacBook Air M2 slow down and overheat. When I installed it on the laptop's security agent even flagged a lot of my passwords as stolen which was a major red flag for me.

Easy time tracking
Pros
The clock-in/clock-out widget made tracking time so easy. The dashboard gave me a quick overview of my performance and quality on each task which was super useful.
Cons
The mouse tracker seems like an unfair feature especially since I use the keyboard more for tasks that require typing.

Need color labeling
Pros
The Kanban board loads smoothly and time tracking with stamps works perfectly. Everything else is fine. It's a pretty good and useful app.
Cons
There really should be a color-coding option for tasks in the Kanban view based on priority. It would make the whole thing much more productive. Also screenshots should be avoided.

Expensive for full features
Pros
The time tracking is accurate and scheduling works well. It's a complete product so I can't complain.
Cons
It's a bit pricey per user for what's offered and a lot of features are locked behind higher costs. I was also disappointed when they refused to refund part of the annual plan even after I suggested a fair refund based on what we'd used. That gave me a bad impression of them.

Simple to use
Pros
For me the best part about Hubstaff is how simple it is. It's so easy to keep track of my team's time and how much they're getting paid.
Cons
The reporting system feels old-fashioned. It'd be much easier to review each individual's time on weekly basis if the process were smoother.

Good software but desktop app needs improvement
Pros
Overall Hubstaff is awesome for managing billable hours on client projects. It makes it easy to stay on top of project budgets and it also provides proof of delivery for client work.
Cons
The desktop app is lacking in a few areas. For example, there should be a way to make adding notes mandatory when stopping timers. Employees also have to log in to the website to manually edit entries which isn't ideal. The integration with QuickBooks and Salesforce needs work too as it creates a lot of manual tasks for our team.

Helpful screenshots and alerts
Pros
The screenshots and the alerts for suspicious activity are super helpful. I have to mention Mercy from customer support. She's always so quick to help me out compared to other agents. The integration with Hubstaff tasks is a game changer too.
Cons
The pricing is a bit of an issue in a work from home setting where many employees juggle multiple jobs. We pay by the project so employees don't always work 160-200 hours a month. In my case one employee worked only 80 hours per month. It'd be nice if the pricing were adjusted based on hours worked.

Smooth HR management
Pros
It's a really easy system to use especially for remote teams. It's transparent with lots of tools for smooth HR management, controlling tasks and invoicing.
Cons
So far we haven't had any issues. The technical support has been helpful and the information provided is easy to understand.
