Smooth project flow & solid outcomes
Pros
Setting up the server was very easy thanks to the clear and simple instructions. Everything else in the app is also easy to understand and just makes sense. Even with language differences, I can see a lot of room for growth because of how well it's designed. If I need to adjust language files, it's no problem at all. The whole thing is laid out so well and I didn't even have to learn anything new to start using it, it just works and the built-in chat features help too.
Cons
One thing I really wanted was the option to import stuff from a different project management tool like Basecamp or Zoho Projects since I've used both already. I was hoping that feature would be there but it wasn't.

How the free version worked for me
Pros
Installing it on my own server was quick and came with great documentation. Managing users and navigating other features is simple and easy. I can tell there's still a lot of potential here because it's so well structured. Like the way it handles multiple languages is smart you can easily tweak the language files to fit what you need. I really appreciate how the clean layout and built-in dialogs make it usable without any training. Plus the performance is solid and time tracking is super straightforward.
Cons
It'd be great if it had milestones like the classic project management tools do, because with Lifetime, the time bars don't act like fixed points. When I first tested it, I noticed some issues using it in Safari, the login window didn't really work the way I expected. But to be fair, it was more of a design issue specific to Safari. I gave my feedback and they actually used it to improve the product which was pretty cool.

Really helpful for running my projects
Pros
I really like how clean and organized the interface is, it's perfect for managing multiple projects. Setting things up is simple and tracking everything across different projects is no problem. I've used the roadmap planning and task management a lot and they've worked great for my team. It's just a solid tool overall.
Cons
Not much to complain about here. The UI and UX do feel a bit outdated compared to some of the newer SaaS tools out there. But when it comes to actual features and functionality, I think it's solid. I'd recommend it for both teams and solo users.

All-in-one tool for managing stuff
Pros
What stood out to me was how this one tool packs in features you usually find spread out across multiple PM apps like timelines, research repositories, kanban boards and more. It was pretty easy to get the hang of at first though the advanced stuff took a bit longer to learn. I'm also a big fan of the real-time collaboration features, they're very handy.
Cons
There were times when some features didn't work or were kind of buried in the interface. Having some video tutorials would really help. I also wish it had chat features like Slack not that I love Slack, it's usually just a distraction but having something like that built-in would be helpful.

Really impressed
Pros
This tool is so flexible that I didn't even need a user manual. I just poked around the interface for a bit and got the hang of it. Everything feels easy to find and understand.
Cons
There's no mobile app which kind of limits how I can use it on the go. That's one thing I really missed.

Not bad for a new contender
Pros
I've got to say, Leantime is doing a great job offering flexibility. I like that I can manage some projects with burn downs, tasks and sprints and others with a more kanban-style setup, all in the same workspace. It's really cool to have that kind of control over how I run different projects.
Cons
The workflow's confusing to me. Projects kind of feel like tasks and I'm not sure how to group things the way I want. I'd really like to be able to switch between projects and only see the settings, tasks and charts for that specific one without any info from other projects popping up unless I switch to them.

Strong core features that work well
Pros
It checks all the boxes when it comes to project management. It's got everything I need to stay on top of things. I was pleasantly surprised by the timesheet feature that's not something I usually find in tools like this. The reporting and metrics are also well done and actually give useful insights.
Cons
No cons. I like the UI, it's clean and easy to get around. That said, it could definitely use a bit of a refresh with a more modern and flat design. I'm hopeful it'll improve though especially since their support team seems really active and listens to users.

What Trello should've been
Pros
I really appreciated how simple this software is to use. It's not overloaded with stuff but it's still powerful and lets me customize things the way I want. It's got that sweet spot of great functionality and ease of use.
Cons
I do wish it came with some stronger planning tools built in. But for what it offers right now it's still a solid tool.

Was confusing at first, now I love it
Pros
There's a ton of features packed in here and they really help me keep track of everything from early ideas all the way to execution. I like how it gives me a clear view of the whole business process.
Cons
It's overwhelming at first. It takes some time to really understand how everything connects but once it clicks, it starts to make more sense.

Everything I needed in one place
Pros
It basically has all the same features that those bigger, pricier platforms offer. I love that I can instantly see what's going on across my whole organization without having to dig through a bunch of tabs or tools.
Cons
Something I really would've loved is the ability to import stuff from another project management platform like Asana or Monday since I've worked with both. That feature would've made onboarding so much easier.
